I didn't know that!! She is an excellent player, and I feel she doesn't get enough credit for being a GS champ being a qualifier at that, which is a huge accomplishment! She was just unfortunate to get injured when she did. If she stays healthy, she has more titles in her future and maybe another GS. The field is so tight right now. First of all, the surgery was on the 5th of june (not on the 6th). Novak is an experienced sportsman and he alone knows the best if he is ready to play, he knows his body better then any reporter or commentator. I think it is best to leave to him to decide, and stop speculate...

I think he should play, and I am speaking as an athlete. Novak knows his body; he knows what he can and can't do. Most athletes be injured most of the time in some way, they just don't speak about it, it is just common for athletes. Taylor was fine we he played Wimbledon after the same injury, and by all accounts his injury was more severe than Novak, he also had little time to heal. The grass is a very interesting surface, most players don't like grass at all, Novak excels on it, so it only makes since that, if at all possible, he should play there. Everyone keeps talking about the Olympics. The Olympics is also very interesting for tennis players, we don't always get the winner we think we will get, so there is no guarantee that he is going to do well there.
